New Staff Member
Our Mission Southside team is expanding once again! We are excited to announce and introduce to you the newest staff member of our Mission Southside leadership team -
Rod Janzen
Rod is no stranger to community impact and evangelism. Rod has been in pastoral ministry since 1983 and has been privileged to serve with initiatives such as Olathe Serve Day, Olathe Pastors Network, Citywide Prayer Movement, Olathe Community Food Pantry, the Olathe Police Department, local church planting and foreign leadership training.
Rod now joins the leadership team at Mission Southside, giving oversight to administration, development, communication and foreign partnerships. The Janzen's count it a privilege to serve the Lord as this new role will give them the opportunity to unleash their love for people and the community they have lived in for 30 years. Rod begins his new role on June 1, 2013.
Rod and Lynda have been married since 1983 and have two grown children, Lauren (and Eric) Eberspacher, along with granddaughter, Nora, and son, Jared.
Steve and Craig consider the addition of Rod as a true blessing as he shares his gifts in bringing help and hope to our community. Rod is the "Igniter" who will help accellerate all of the current and future ways in which Mission Southside will impact the community for Jesus!
