How You Can Help

Lock Arms With Us

At Mission Southside there are many ways for you or your family to plug in and use your time, treasure or talent. Sign up to sort donations, help our warehouse manager or help with food coop. If you would like to bring a group, deliver furniture or any of the many projects we have going on, please let us know.

Sign up for a service project like a neighborhood food blitz, toy drive, diaper drive, or blanket drive. Details are on the Current Needs List.

Whether you want to spend your time or donate your talent, there is something for all ages.

Warehouse Team

Warehouse Team:  Furniture, housewares and clothing are donated to the Mission and displayed in our Warehouse to look like a shopping store for the people we serve to find what they need.  If you are willing to serve in this area of ministry, on Tues or Thurs afternoons from 1:30p-3:30p, contact us to learn more.

Backsnacks

The Back Snack Program provides food for children who would otherwise have nothing to eat on weekends when they are not attending school. Many of these children are homeless, or on free and reduced lunch. Hungry children have been known to have lower test scores, diminished learning capacity, and increased behavioral problems.

Items needed regularly are: fruit cups, applesauce cups, individual oatmeal packets, canned chicken, canned tuna, juice boxes, canned pasta with meat, Microwave macaroni and cheese, granola bars. NO CANNED VEGGIES OR BEANS, please.
